Application Procedures:
All applicants should note that there will be a formal interview after successful applications, before admissions are granted. To apply, please submit the following items to:

1. A completed application form. Your application will not be processed if it is incomplete.
2. Four passport-sized photographs. Please put your name, social security number and signature on the back of each photo.
3. A non-refundable application fee of £50.00. Applications will not be processed without the application fee. If you plan on writing a check or money order, please make it payable to Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine Ltd. For wire transfers, please click here for information.
4. Three letters of recommendation from professors, employers or a pre-professional committee. The writers should send these letters directly to the college. Letters from friends or family are unacceptable. If you are a transfer student, two letters of recommendation are required from faculty members of the institution(s) where credits are being transferred from. It is preferred that one of the letters of recommendation comes from a Dean.
5. All 3 essays typed on separate sheet of paper. Please ensure your essays are not single-spaced and are legible. Please include your name and social security number on each separate page. Students are expected to write essays according to general English standards.
6. Official transcripts. These should be sent directly from each institution attended.
7. Official MCAT, TOEFL, PTE and other examination scores should be sent directly from the testing agency if the applicant has taken these examinations. TOEFL or IELTS or PTE scores must be submitted if English is not your native language.
8. Curriculum vitae or resume. 2 or 3 references should be included.
9. Letter of good conduct or background check from the police department. Please submit an official letter from the police department. No photocopies please.
10. A health form and immunization records. Please complete and forward to the College.
11. If you are a transfer student, please complete the transfer supplement form.
12. If you plan to enroll in a dual degree program, please complete the graduate supplement form.
13. Formal Interview. After the review of submitted application forms by the Admissions Committee, any applicant deemed successful at this stage will be required to undergo an online, video-mediated interview via Skype. This is to enable the College to authenticate the identity of the prospective student that admission is being offered and subject to payment of the required tuition.
