Council Tax & TV Licensing
Council tax is any tax on any residential dwelling (houses, flats, or anything used for residential purposes) which the Borough Council charges. This tax is payable whether people live in them or not.
All students and their dependants/partners are responsible for all council tax issues as they live off campus. Students must apply to the Council Tax office to see if they can receive a discount or exemption from paying the tax.
